The short version
Wandr introduces you to strangers you might travel with. That only works if everyone can trust the person on the other side of the screen. Be the traveller you’d want to run into.
Never allowed
There is zero tolerance for any of this, anywhere in the app — including private messages:
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation.
- Hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are.
- Sexually explicit material of any kind.
- Violence, or content that encourages self-harm.
- Spam, scams, or asking other travellers for money.
- Pretending to be someone you are not.
- Sharing someone else's private information or photos without consent.
The full, binding list lives in the Terms of Use — these guidelines summarize it and the Terms win if they ever differ.
If something goes wrong
Report any person or post from where you see it, and block anyone from their profile — a block is immediate and removes them from your feed, your deck and your messages. Every report is read by a person. Where one is upheld, the content goes and the account is warned, suspended or removed.
If reporting doesn’t feel like enough, email support@wandrapp.ca and a person will read it.
Meeting in the real world
Wandr can introduce you; it can’t vouch for anyone. Meet first in public places, tell someone where you’re going, and trust the instinct that says something is off — you never owe a stranger your time.
