Where we stand
Wandr should be usable whether you see the screen, hear it, or drive it with a keyboard or a switch. We aim toward WCAG 2.1 AA. We are not fully there yet — this page says plainly what works, what doesn’t, and how to reach a person when something is in your way.
What works today
- Pinch-to-zoom and text resizing are never blocked.
- Reduced motion is respected throughout — animations calm down or disappear when your system asks them to.
- Keyboard focus is always visible, and a skip link jumps past navigation to the content.
- Interactive controls carry labels for screen readers, and photos that carry meaning are described.
- Light and dark themes both aim for legible contrast, and the app follows your system setting.
Known gaps
- Some sheets and dialogs do not yet trap keyboard focus while open.
- A few decorative-versus-meaningful image judgements are still being reviewed.
- We have not yet completed a full audit with VoiceOver on iOS, which is where most Wandr time happens.
These are on the list, not swept under it. This page’s date changes when the list does.
Tell us about a barrier
If something in Wandr is hard or impossible for you to use, email support@wandrapp.ca with what you were trying to do and what got in the way. A person reads every message, and barriers get priority over polish.
